Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support!

I see that your website is under coming soon mode.

Would you be willing to provide me with WordPress credentials so I could investigate the issue directly?

I would test site speed with and without WPML. Any particular pages where performance issue is to be seen?

I marked your next reply as private so that you can safely add credentials.

You can use plugins such as UpdraftPlus WordPress Backup Plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) or ask your host to perform a site backup

Bruno Kos

Hi,

I compared backend and frontend in scenarios with and without WPML, in backend I don't see much differences, in the frontend I do:

Can I ask you to update WPML and all its add-ons to the latest versions?

Also performance tickets are very specific because lower performance can come from various sources, starting with non-cashed sites and servers, slow hosting, incompatibility with other plug-ins or themes, etc.

That being said, can you see with adding some caching your site such as https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/optimize-multilingual-website-performance-using-w3-total-cache/ or maybe WP Rocket?
https://wpml.org/announcements/2019/12/best-cache-plugins-for-multilingual-wordpress-sites/

Also, are you able to test performance in your site when:

- only WPML plugins are activated, as it will tell us if there is an interaction issue with other plugin
- theme is set to a WordPress default like Twenty Nineteen as it will tell us if there is an interaction issue with your theme

If you find that the issue is no longer there, then I suggest you activate the theme first and check if the issue is still happening. If still all working well, then there is possibly some compatibility problem with any of your plugins, so you can for example activate 3 plugins at a time and observe the problem then.

Regards,
Bruno Kos
