Hello,
I’ve been running my woocommerce shop on a multilingual site using WPML.
When clients check out in the main language, english, everything goes smoothly.
When they check out in the other languages, dutch or french, then the order-received page after succesful payment returns a 404 error, like this:

for reference, a succesful order in english returns this page

This means clients who order in french/dutch get no confirmation email, and the order does not get set on “processing”. Clients get worried, and i end up with lots of complaints emails and chargebacks on the payments.

I’m guessing something’s not set right regarding the order-received pages?
I hope someone has had the same and knows how to fix it?

I understand you are having 404 issues. Since this type of issues can be created by some conflicts or php errors. I would need your help to narrow down the issue. Could you please provide feedback on the following questions as much as possible?

Are you using the latest versions of WPML plugins? Which version of PHP/MYSQL are you using? You can easily send this information using Debug information settings from WPML.
Could you please go to WPML > Support > Debug Information and give me the information in the next reply. You can read the detailed instructions here: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

Can you confirm that you are still experiencing issues with minimal set up (all plugins except WPML disabled and the theme on a WordPress default such as Twenty Nineteen)

1. Please follow the debugging information provided here: http://wpml.org/documentation/support/debugging-wpml/
2. Repeat the action of creating the problem.
3. Copy and paste the contents of debug.log (log file inside the /wp-content/ directory) here for me to see.
