Please see the attached image: Division-link-not-correctly-fr-before-it.jpg This shows the French version of the Divisions page with an incorrect link that doesn't have the /fr/ (Shown bottom left of the image as I hover over the link circled in red.) I have also attached 4 images: Division-in-wpadmin-link-not-showing-001.jpg onwards (There was no point in me showing you further down as 004 is at the FAQ point at that point at the bottom of the page.) These are a screen grab of when I go into the WordPress Admin, click on Divisions in English and hit Translate. As you can see, there is nowhere showing where I can see the incorrect link for this page of the page, and therefore nowhere for me to be able to manually change it to say /fr/division-des-procedes-industriels/ which is the French version of the links location. I hope this helps further in getting to the bottom of this. |

Hi there, Thank you for sharing these! 2 things to note here that might help. 1. When we reviewed the ACF field groups we noticed that the button link is set as a text field type and it might be better to be link type. Please go to ACF -> Field Groups -> Flexible Content -> Content -> Button Link -> Field Type -> Change from Text to Link This should help with the automatic translation of the link as long as the translation of the page you are linking to exists. 2. In your screenshots notice how you are seeing the button link item for Contact Us includes the Button Link underneath it. The item that you are missing the link from looks like it's coming from a different ACF field Looks like it's coming from the Columns / Column / Repeater / Link This item is set to 'Copy' which is why it's not showing in the ATE editor for you to manually edit. let's leave it as 'copy' and change the type from text to link as well. Make a small edit to the default language content and update then update the content and let me know your results, that way we can compare the copy vs translate after it's changed to "link" type. If all this would be better for us to test please let me know and I'd be happy to do so, since it's a live environment I tend to keep changes limited. |

Let's look at your point 2. I followed your instructions. Please see attached image: In that image, you can see that in changing the Columns / Column / Repeater / Link from Text to Link, removed the title from being translated all together on the 'Translate' page (and also didn't add a bit that was it's link to be amended) N/B, the image attached: FEED-page-reference.jpg is the Feed page that I was testing this on, and you can see the title that should be showing up on the translator. I ran the translate anyway and when I looked at the page, it had made it into a /fr/ link, however it also added /Array on the end of the link and therefore it didn't work and went to the 404 page. Please see attached image: added-forward-slash-Array.jpg I decided to change ACF's Columns / Column / Repeater / Link back to Text and save it, as this obviously hadn't worked. I'm a little reluctant to try what you said in point 1, as point 2 didn't work, but I will if you feel that it will help and not break things as it did for the above. To be honest, it seems to just be point 2 and the 'Columns' links that are the outstanding issue, all other links are working. Any other ideas on how we can get it to show up on the 'translate' page so I can manually add /fr/ or so it does it automatically? |

Hi There, I was testing the ACF link issue and after making a simple update changing the Industrial Processing link to the Full URL, the content on the ACF fields disappeared, if possible please process the backup, because when I attempt to use the standard WP revision tool it does not work even though all the content is there. It's very strange, all the content is showing in the backend for FR and DE but not for English: |

Dismiss previous reply, problem averted. I have been able to revert the page successfully. I'd still review it to make sure all is OK. Here are my suggestions. IF you do not want to change the ACF structure (as we have seen this can cause issues), I suggest going to ACF's Columns / Column / Repeater / Link and setting it to "Translate" same as the other, this will allow you to translate it and manually add the /fr/ in the ATE editor. IF you wish to use the automatic translation feaute for the links and not having to manually do it, I'd highly recommend changing the ACF types for the links from 'text' to 'LINK', 'URL', or "PAGE LINK" which are relational. However, changing it to URL was part of the problem reported in my previous reply which caused issues. |

Thanks, I have changed the ACF's Columns / Column / Repeater / Link and set it to "Translate" as suggested. Please see the attached image: ACF-link-location.jpg I have gone back to the industrial processing page and slightly amended the text on the English page and Updated. I have clicked on the French translation. As you can see from the attached images set-to-translate-still-no-place-to-change-01.jpg and set-to-translate-still-no-place-to-change-03.jpg the place to manually change the link is not showing up. N/B: As before, set-to-translate-still-no-place-to-change-03.jpg is showing where we are talking about with the location on the page. Unfortunately your suggestion has not fixed the issue still. Please can you look into this, amend this ACF columns link so that it works, and then let me know once there is a working solution. I have spent so much time, so many hours on this back and forth. Everyone is angry with me, and every time we make an amend to test something, another 30ish credits are used and wasted. Thanks, but please find a solution to the plugin issue not working with ACF as intended. |

Hi there, The page we were working on—Divisions—is now functioning as expected. If you check it, you’ll see that the URL link is being correctly pulled into the ATE editor. The page you shared above is using a different ACF field. However, if you search for your link using the search bar in the top-right corner of the ATE editor, you'll see it’s been picked up and is available for manual translation. A couple of important notes: The current ACF field groups are set to the "text" type. This setup doesn't support WPML's automatic internal link translation, so manual translation is required, as described above. To enable automatic link translation, you'd need to restructure your ACF field groups to use the "Link", "URL", or "Page Link" field types. However, as you've mentioned, those field types aren’t working correctly in your current setup. A restructure would be necessary to implement this properly. Regarding the credits, I have credited your account with 5,000 credits which should be enough to cover these tests we have done. Video going over findings: |

We seem to be there now, this is great news.... I'm going to roll out the other languages now that French and German seem to be correct as per the setup, so if it's OK with you, I'd like to keep this ticket open while I do that? Also on another note, from the other discussions with your team mates, I can't refer back to their advice as they have been removed from my tickets dashboard as they are now 'closed'. Please can you let me know how I can refer back to them with links to them if I need to. Thanks again for all the help. |

That's great to hear! We can leave this ticket open, you will most likely receive a notice that's automated as a reminder. You should be able to see all your tickets under your account here: |
