I am trying to: update a translated page

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: all pages

I expected to see: the translated page being updated

Instead, I got: the translated page is overwritten by the original page text or the fields are blank, loosing the already translated text

Can you tell me if these translations are duplicates in fact? Can you check this link and tell me if this is the case?

If so, If you want to convert a duplicate to a translation, go to the editor, in the section Language, click the button Translate independently.

This is what I see, I send screenshots. The italian text has been overvritten by the original english text, when i simply tried to update the phone number on the page. It happens also on the other pages, so for me it's very difficult to update any page, because I will lose all the existing translations!

Hi,

I can see on these images that this site is a localhost - do you have a live version perhaps or could you share Duplicator packages? Let me know so that I can set private fields for this.

But before that, can you try the following:
- WPML - > Support -> Troubleshooting:
-- Clear the cache in WPML
-- Set language information
-- Assign translation status to duplicated content

Does it help?

Then I've modified other pages ("Huraa Guest House" and "Special Offers"): all seems working correcly.

At last I've modified the "Contacts" page, but the issue remains the same!

If you delete this page and recreate it anew, does is happen as well? Also, if you create a new page and translate it, does it happen, or only these existing pages were affected?

I've created a new page anew and the issue is the same: when I update the original page, the tranlated page is overwritten, losing the previous translation.

Can you tell if you could make a Duplicator package and upload it to Google Drive or Dropbox? I see that the site is a localhost, so I don't imagine that there is a live version available?

Yes, I have a live website hidden link
The webstite has grown incredibly to 1.9 Gb after the installation of WPML plugin and I can't send you the package that you are asking: too big. Also I've seen that recently WPML accounts had security issues, so I do not want to send passwords around.
Please tell me what I have to do and I will try by my side on my localhost site. Better assistance way could be a live chat, is it possible?
