I am trying to:edit a German (secondary language) page using elementor, but changes get reverted

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:

I expected to see: I know that WPML manages the translations, however in the translation tool i do not see all the websites contents (elementor elements missing). My solution would be to completely untie the German pages from the English original, can I do that?

Hi,

thanks for contacting us.

If your changes are reverted, it may be they are not saved. This could be caused by not enough WP Memory Limit. PHP memory limit is fine but WordPress uses 40Mb as default. Minimum requirements for WPML are 128Mb.
Add this near the top of wp-config.php file (after the php opening tag) to increase WP memory:

/** WP Memory Limit */
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );

The wp-config.php file is located in your WordPress root directory. It's the same file where the database configuration settings are. You will have to access it by FTP or SFTP in order to edit it.
You can check the current WP Memory Limit value from WPML -> Support in the Info section
More info here:

If you do not see all Elementor widget, they may need to be registered. Could you give me an example of widget content you do not see? They could also be custom element created for example by the theme.
Here is the list of the compatible module at the moment: https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/elementor/#List-of-the-translatable-Elementor-Elements

Yes but the language switcher wouldn't work anymore.
