Background of the issue:
I am trying to resolve an issue where internal links and button texts on my WordPress site have changed to the secondary language, English, instead of the primary language, Danish. This issue has occurred before, seemingly after resaving permalinks and switching the primary language from English to Danish. I recently removed the LiteSpeed caching plugin due to layout issues on the homepage, which resolved that problem. However, the language issue with links and buttons has reappeared. I have checked the translations in WPML and everything appears up to date. After saving the affected pages and clearing the cache on Hostinger, the correct button texts and links reappeared. This issue has occurred twice, and I need to resolve it as we plan to advertise next week. I have created a staging environment where the issue is still visible. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
Symptoms:
Internal links and button texts have changed to English instead of Danish. This issue reappeared after removing the LiteSpeed caching plugin. The correct translations are present in WPML, and the issue resolves temporarily after saving pages and clearing the cache.
Questions:
What is causing the internal links and button texts to change to the secondary language?
How can I permanently resolve this issue to prevent it from happening again?
