Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

I could not find pearl in our compatibility plugins list: https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/
Do you mean pearl theme?

Please provide the wpml debug info for better and faster support: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/
I am enabling the debug info field for next reply.

Regards,
Riffaz.

Hi,

Ok, thanks. I understand the issue.

The plugin you are using is not in our compatible list: https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/
So it should be compatible issue as you are not seeing a way to translate it as well in your site.

We have to check this in a fresh, bug free environment.
So we can find a fix for this without effecting your site.

Please :
1. go to hidden link
2. configure the WPML as you have it on your site. at the last step (sitekey) just click next.
3. install the plugin you are using for this widget/header.
4. create only one page/post
5. set the widget.
6. try to translate it.
7. reproduce the issue.
8. let us know how to check this step by step and show some screenshots.

You may think you do not have enough time to do this but it will take only 5 to minutes as everything is already pre-configured.

Let me know.

Hi,

Thanks for your quick reply.

Already try your indications, but doens't work.

1. I upload the english logo and click submit to save (1#-en.jpg)
2. Change for PORTUGUESE on top, then i upload the portuguese logo and click submit to save (2#-PT.jpg)
3. If i go to ENGLISH language the logo is in portuguese
4. The plugin assume for both languages the last file upload.
5. WPML doesn't work with this plugin.

On pages, or posts, WPML gives TRANSLATIONS option on right menu (3#-wpml.jpg).

Regards

Hi,

Oh, you were asking about translating/changing logo.
That was not clear for me.

then try to following these steps:

1- Go to WPML >> Strings Translation
2- Click the link 'Translate texts in admin screens »' (you'll find it at the bottom of the page) 3- Look for an option similar to "theme_mod", or something like that. Here you should find all strings associated with your theme options. You should be able to find the string for mobile/ratina/any logo
4- Check the checkbox of the string.
5- Click on the button "Apply"(at the bottom of the page)
6- Now, all your selected strings should appear in the String Translation panel and you can translate those strings.

Let me know how it goes.

- did you added to string translations after found it?
- do you see that in WPML > String translations ?

you have to do after performing above steps :
- the logo is a jpg image, can i put a url link image to load other logo, on translate box!?!?
- that's what you have to do.

Hi,

I see you uploaded the Portuguese logo here: hidden link but when I visit to the site hidden link I see the English logo for both languages.
How is that possible?
Is there any specific setting for that?

Let me know how to check this properly.

On HEADER OPTIONS the uploaded logo is for mobile and/or if you don't upload the logo on HEADER BUILDER.

But if you upload on HEADER BUILDER he will replace HEADER OPTIONS.

Yes, but is strange on mobile it loads the portuguese logo (uploaded on HEADER OPTIONS)!?!??!

Hi,

Thank you for the explanation.
At this point WPML team can not fix this because it works really strange.
We need some explanation from the plugin author/team.

If you upload the Portuguese logo here hidden link we should see the Portuguese logo in the the main site hidden link right? but it is not in your case.
And that works as it should be in mobile.
That is really strange.

I disabled the WPML in hidden link
And, still we can see the same behaviour. so It's obvious that it has nothing to do with the WPML.

Please contact the plugin support and ask them why is that.
When they give you something, we can process further.

And, ask them to contact us via https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/go-global-program/ to make the plugin compatible with WPML.
