Hello,

sorry for waiting, we have a higher queue these days.

1) In order to expedite handling your support requests, can you please shere WPML support debug information from your site.

- To give debug information, login to your site and go to WPML → Support. From there click on the “debug information” link at the bottom of the page.
- Once on the “debug information” page, select the entire content of the text box and copy it.
- Now go back to our support forum, find debug information box and paste it.

More information on the link: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

2) I have read your conversation with Bruno and I see you have some performance issue on a very large website 235 000 posts.

Such requests on my site take a long time and require a lot of resources.
if I view "all posts" then two of your requests are marked as slow

I see you had a similar ticket in the past which was escalated to our developers, but you never confirmed if it fixed the issue for you.

This looks to me likes similar if not the same issue/ticket.

You shared the same query and mentioned it appears more than once, SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS

- Can you please confirm if this is the same issue?
- Check how many queries are when WPML disabled vs when WPML is enabled.

Please let me know.

KInd regards,
Drazen

Hello

thanks for updating.

Can you please follow my suggestion from the previous reply:

- Can you please confirm if this is the same issue as your previous ticket
- Check how many queries are when WPML disabled vs when WPML is enabled.
- Please test only with WPML plugins active and while using WP default theme
- Share load times for each and or video/image where we can clearly see issues.

If possible please provide:
- a staging site where we can see and test the issue
- a database dump

Please let me know.

Kind regards,
Drazen

Hello,

thanks for getting back.

I have tried accessing the link you shared, but I get an error and can not download the file, "Error 503 Response object too large."

Can you please check and make sure the file can be downloaded, or upload to 3rd party file sharing, like Dropbox, Google Disk, WeTransfer etc.

Kind regards,
Drazen

I downloaded the file successfully.
I downloaded it in Safari, but Chrome writes a 503 error. Try downloading from another browser. Or tell me where can I download it?

Great, now I was able to download it.

Now, before I can escalate this issue to our 2nd tier, we need to confirm the issue is caused by WPML. You can deactivate it freely for a few minutes, it will not cause any issues.

If possible please provide images or video of the testing and where is the issue happening (number of queries and load time), or if possible provide wp-admin credentials to the website so I can check it.

Please let me know.

Thanks and kind regards,
Drazen

Hello,

thanks for the feedback.

I have installed a query monitor plugin and I see only 1 slow query is coming from WPML.

Nevertheless, I have escalated this case to our 2nd tier to check and advise.

I will update you soon.

Kind regards,
Drazen

Hello,

I have got an update from our developers, we debugged your issue and have done our best to fix the issue, we also tried to reproduce the issue on a clean install but were not able to.

It seems this a site-specific issue with a very specific scenario. We have noticed some extra indexes in the database that are probably related to some other plugin or similar.

The best we can do in this case is suggest hiring a WPML contractor to check further and work on fixing your issue:

I am sorry for any inconvenience caused and hope you will understand our side here.

Thanks and kind regards,
Drazen

thanks for the answer. What will the developer have to do? How can I explain to him what I need?
