I am trying to: access my page on staging environment at Kinsta.

wpml-string-translation
wpml-translation-management
caused php workers to be at limit and loading time to be infinite.

I expected to see: faster load page, php workers at normal.
Instead, I got: very long time, php workers at limit,
Causes: 3 plugins had to be disabled to return to normal.
The staging environment works with 2 php workers and cache disabled.
I added WPML to translate in English. Loading time went up and even blocked access. PHP workers were at limits. These 3 plugins caused
calls I see in our performance tool and appear to be related to both such as WPML_TM_Admin_Sections→init_sections and load_wpml_st_basics. Do you have more information about how to configure WPML to keep PHP worker usage to a minimum, especially within the staging environment where caching is disabled?
The issue on the prod was not tested as WPML was loaded for testing first.

- Check load time and a number of queries in the top bar. Load time has "s" and queries "Q"
- Disable all WPML plugins and check load time and the number of queries now
- Disable all other plugins and leave active only WPML plugins. Check again.

Following your instructions I discovered other stuff making all this more complex.
It will take time to isolate WPML. Let me revamp the website first and I ll come back with the A/B test.
I have isolated the issue. The pb comes either from WPML Media or WPML Management. It has also conflict with WP File Manager (all WPML plugins), so I have to use filezilla now to access my folders. I am fine with just the normal WPML and string plugin. I wanted to share this information but wont do all again tests as I have no time for this. It works as is but there are conflicts somehow.

I can't do this test even on staging as I am working on new versions.
Just that enabling Management and Media creates conflict.
I use not WP default theme but WPresidence.
For WP File Manager, I think this should be replicable on your side.
I use latest versions.

I understand, I was just thinking to test to see if there is some conflict with other plugins/themes. We would need to debug and check the issue further if you want us to try and fix it.

As for WP File Manager, since we limit 1 issue per 1 ticket to keep things clear, I have opened a new ticket and will check it separately:
Agreed for the WPML conflict with WP FIle Manager and Woocommerce.
For the replication of the issue, not now I can't afford it but may come to it one day later.
