Tell us what you are trying to do?
I am going on with translations and yesterday everything works smoothly. WPML automatic updated tonight (if I enter the plugins' folder via ftp, plugin is there and date date is new).
Today I enter in wp to non with the work and the WPML plugin does not appear in the plugins' list page. I have an error message saying Multicurrency and String translation cannot work as WPML is not installed and all the second language disappeared as well as the flag on website menu.
I have any idea what to do and I do not want to loose all my job. Something went wrong or is not compatible with the update.

Also: Accessing by I added a - to the plugin folder name and then get back to normal one, and activated again all the plugins. I hoped the WPML plugin would appear again. It does not.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

I completely removed the incomplete files and I re-installed WPML for you.

Now, WPML works correctly and it is active.
