I am trying to display translated posts in a loop

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
This is the main page with alll shows on the site :

hidden link
On this URL the loop shows the native - Hebrew language of each post. However, it does link to a translated version using the_permalink

This is a specific category page :
hidden link
On this url the posts are shown as full english.

The only difference in WP code is that inside each category is used is_category and on the main page i used in_category

I expected to see: The same result on both places

Dear Alejandro, is it possible that i will give you access to the site via TeamViewer? or perhaps you could use a VPN to access the site?

I activated some fields that need to be filled in order for me to continue.

you can find them below your answer now.

Please add them and let me know (you can add the same WordPress credentials in the FTP area if you don't have access to FTP).

Let me know how it goes.

Hi,
could you please upload the theme and try to replicate the problem in this sandbox (as i understand you need to create a few posts, set them with the correct date from 1/4 to 8/4):

I need to run a few tests and i can't do it on your server.

Let me know when you do.

Hello, I ran into some trouble exporting the theme / using the duplicator.
I have installed all-in-one wp migration and i can transfer my site's backup using this plugin.
I would only need an increase in the upload minimum to be 512mb instead of 256 due to the backup being 292mb size.

Hope thats ok

Thanks again

I have succeeded in uploading the DB and the Theme however things are not working properly. You can access all the files on the new debugging site in the theme editor.

I would prefer it if we could use all in one wp migration to have a full version up and running, that way we could also export it easily to my server when we are done aswell.

Looking forward to your reply

Thanks in adnvace

We don't really need to have the entire site, because what i'm trying to do here is to isolate the problem and have only the strictly necessary files and content to work with.

you can use all in one wp migration, but try to only migrate the posts and the theme. exclude plugins and pretty much everything else that is not really necessary

because otherwise i won't be able to send to our developers (if needed).

Hello,

In the code of this page i don't really find part of the code you previously sent me. I noticed that the WPML settings are correct, so the only thing that is missing is the text that is showing incorrectly (i checked and the link is working, but the titles and stuff are always being shown in the original language only).

There must be somewhere where you're expliciting an ID in a wrong way and it's always getting the name in the original language. can you try using:

get_the_ID()

if you are in a loop, or just

$post->ID

if you're not and see if that helps retrieving everything correctly?

you can try it in the dev environment, that way you don't have to touch your site until everything's correctly working.

Let me know how it goes.

Hello dear Alejandro, We have made some progress at last.
I have added a class to each post that is called "a + get_the_ID()".
So each post has a class for example " a1234" that is the letter a + the id.

Atm, I have managed to make that page show both english and hebrew posts.
For some reason, it shows both languages together!

Could you please take a look on the website now, and see why is that?

For what reason can it show both languages togehter?

And why on the category page it works correctly?

Thanks in adnvace

Hello, i see the cards are showing in the correct language now, the links seem to be alright too. the only information that seems to be wrongly displaying is the meta data, did you try the same thing you tried for the title for the metadata? (hour, date, category, etc)

Hello Alejandro,
The posts do not appear in the right language.
Not only, at least. It shows in both languages for some reason.
You do not see it that way on your side?

Not really, i might see one or 2 strings in hebrew but the post seems to look ok to me.

Can you send me a screenshot of how you're seeing it with a link of where you're seeing it? maybe it's only some of the posts that are looking like that.

Regards.
