Hello
as the normal sequance i make a new post course in my website in English
after i duplicate the post and make it unique to type the translation in arabic
from here i can see all problems

really all my time i work to solve problems by wpml only 🙁

many shortcode after i update the translated post go away

i type it again and save again

also go away

when i talk to the theme support

he say to me WPML not save and update the Post Mete

why all this problem

i want i direct solution to my problem in fastest time

this is an urgent and critical problem

I'm sorry for the late response here.
I will help you with your issue.
Please note that during the weekend the support is limited, and most of the supporters do not work.
You posted your ticket on Sunday, and this is the reason for the late answer.

First, I would like you to know that the theme that you are using (WPLMS Blank by VibeThemes) is not a compatible theme with WPML.
You can check all our compatible themes here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/

The fact that you theme is not a compatible theme can lead to many issues with translations.

Still to help you could you please elaborate on the following.
You write: "many shortcode after i update the translated post go away".
Could you please elaborate a little more on this point.
What do you mean by "shortcodes" so I can better understand?

Sometimes screenshots illustrating what you mean may go a long way to clarify what words fail to transmit, so if you like, make use of "upload an image" below the comment area.

i will illustrate with photos
and i confirm this problems occur and appear only in translated posts ....
i post 2 images
the first for the main post before any translation

after i translate this post and in the new translated post i press Update
you will find the second photo

if the post not translated no any problem appear 🙁

Thank you for sharing those screenshots with me.
It made me understand the issue better.
I can see that you are trying to embed a YouTube video in your post.
I do not know if there is a special reason that you are using the [iframevideo] shortcode, but there is a much easier way that worked for me for the original post and the translated post as well.
Try to use the [embed] shortcode instead of [iframevideo] shortcode like so.

[embed]<em><u>hidden link</u></em>

It will even work if you just paste the YouTube video link in the post editor without a shortcode at all.

i show you the issue with 2 codes not youtube only

also why the code that i used in youtube removed from the translated posts

i want i direct solution

The beginning of solving the problem must recognize that there is a problem in WPML

why you and all support team say all problems in themes in other plugins and codes and WPML is Unique without any problem ????

i want i direct and detailed solution with why this problem appear in translated posts

I'm sorry for neglecting the other shortcode issue.
Can you please tell me where these shortcodes were created?
Do they belong to the theme or a plugin?
Can you share with me any documentations about how to use those shortcodes?
Maybe it is documentations from your theme?
It might be that the issue is with WPML.
But to be sure it is a WPML issue I have to understand better what the problem is and where it originates.
Please understand that that is why I ask you for explanations.

Also to further investigate i would like to ask you the following.
If you agree, I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue.
You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.
The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

If you prefer to do it on your own, you can provide me with the snapshot of your website following these directions:
If you already know how Duplicator works (http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/), please skip the following steps and just send me the installer file and the zipped package you downloaded.
Duplicator instructions
- From WordPress plugin page, look for “Duplicator” and install it.
- Once installed, you get a new item in the main menu “Duplicator.”
- Chose “Packages.”
- Click on the first button you find in the toolbar on the right (“Create Package”)
- Give it a name or leave it as is
- Click on “Create Package Set.”
- Wait until the package is ready
- Click on “Installer”, then on “Package”: the first one is just a PHP script, the second one is a zip file containing everything you need
- Send me both files (you probably want to use DropBox, Google Drive, or similar services, as the snapshot file will be quite big).

IMPORTANT: remember to create or keep an admin account for me before creating the snapshot, or I won’t be able to log in.
You may delete the new admin account once the snapshot has been built.

Once the problem is resolved, I will delete the local site.
