I am trying to: have the posts being displayed on the posts page/ blog page

URL of (my) website where problem appears: hidden link

I expected to see: a list of posts

Instead, I got: a page with no posts.

FYI - this is happening since 2 days ago.

When I deactivate WPML CMS - the page displays the posts

>>>I already tried disabling all the other plugins and ONLY when deactivating WPML Multilingual CMS do the posts appear.<<<

*If you visit the site, I worked out a (hopefully) temporary compromise for the News section in the menu - it links to the news category. - But of course this not solve the problem.

I would really like to have the Blog page displayed properly.

Hi there,

Could you please try the following after taking a backup of the site and database:
* Go to WPML > Support and follow the link to the troubleshooting page.
* Use the buttons on that page to remove ghost entries, and fix post linking if applicable.

If that doesn't work for you, please let us know. I may need to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to check further.

Hello Abdallah,

I tried to remove ghost entries, and fix post linking on the copy of the site - that did not work.

Thanks. Seems like the user you sent does not have enough privileges to use the WordPress admin pages. Could you please check its access rights?

Hello,

Following up on the original problem:
This issue is already reported to our developers. As a workaround can you please translate (or duplicate) the posts page and see if the posts appear again?

Thanks

Sorry Abdallah,

I updated the users privileges.

Since the posts do not show up on in English, is it worth a try to translate the page to German and French?

Thanks again

The issue is being worked on, but the workaround is to translate (or duplicate) the posts page.

Duplicating should be pretty quick. Could you try that, see if it fixes the problem for you?

Hello Abdallah,

I deleted the Blog page in all languages.

Created another one in English - then duplicated German and French.

This works on my test site with all the plugins installed.

As the issue is being worked on, is there an ETA for the update? For some reason, I am reluctant to do this on the live site...

Unfortunately we don't have an ETA as of yet. Hopefully the workaround is not be too disruptive. Always remember to take a good backup 🙂

I have the same problem and don't get this fixed on any way.

The website is still under development on my local machine. When do you think this will be fixed?

Hello Abdallah,

The issue was fixed by doing the latest update this morning.

Thank you
