Tell us what you are trying to do?

I want to prevent WPML from creating new strings when installing a new plugin.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Welcome to WPML Support forum.

Currently, that's not possible. The only possible way is to exclude the text domains of those plugins from WPML -> String Translation -> Auto-register strings for translation. Click the "Edit" button and In the pop-up window uncheck any text domains related to the plugins you want to disable.

This is in our feature request list but we can't make any promises as to if and when it would be implemented.

Kind regards,

Hope this can be added in future releases.
