I will be happy to help you with this.

It is safe to just dismiss that notice as it could be a one-time event due to updates and all should be fine with WPML after you close that notice. We had a similar issue before but it was handled already in the current version.

In the case where you can’t dismiss this notice, you can solve it by removing the empty value from your database table "wp_icl_strings" using database tools like PHPMyAdmin (or similar) or you can simply remove the entry from inside WPML > String Translation.

❌ Before doing that please backup your database and website for safety. ❌

What is practically happening is that the system is trying to insert a value when one already exists in another language tag.

I deleted the value ([name] => 8c1ee449418789460326ef3cb333e2d9 and [context] => dokan-lite) but I still get the error, how long until WPML stops reporting a problem?

Also note I have multiple rows with the same name (but different context etc). I would guess the system checks more than the name so I don't need to delete them also, right?

Can you please let me know if you also tried to click the "X" to dismiss the notice after you deleted the record from the database and the error appeared again?

Regarding this "Also note I have multiple rows with the same name (but different context etc). I would guess the system checks more than the name so I don't need to delete them also, right?", we won't have anything to do with the other records, just with the one from the error.

yes, the notice is dismissed multiple times but the error is appearing again.
Running
```
SELECT * FROM `wpbi_icl_strings` WHERE name = "8c1ee449418789460326ef3cb333e2d9" AND context = "dokan-lite"
```
returns 0 rows.

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

The notice is not reappearing anymore. I am not sure why it took time for this to happen (caching maybe?)

Yes, it might have been showing due to caching.
