Dear Julien,
I had a look at file you uploaded 'template-portfolio.php'.
Can you please try to add 'suppress_filters' argument after line #34

'suppress_filters' => false

That should allow WPML to filter posts right.
Also you can check if there are other places that need this argument specified.

Please let me know if this helped.

Dear Srdjan,

I have apllied the change :
<?php
if ( get_query_var('paged') ) { $paged = get_query_var('paged'); } elseif ( get_query_var('page') ) { $paged = get_query_var('page'); } else { $paged = 1; }
$args = array(
'post_type' => 'portfolio',
'paged' => $paged,
'meta_key' => 'portfolio-image',
'posts_per_page' => -1
'suppress_filters' => false
);
query_posts( $args );

rewind_posts();
?>

but I get the following error when reloading the page :

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ')' in wp-content/themes/simplicity/template-portfolio.php on line 35

I am not sure what cause this error.

I have granted FTP access in case you need to look into other files.

Thank you for your help.

I cannot access site.
It's just typo - you forgot to add comma before inserting line #35

<?php
if ( get_query_var('paged') ) { $paged = get_query_var('paged'); } elseif ( get_query_var('page') ) { $paged = get_query_var('page'); } else { $paged = 1; }
$args = array(
'post_type' => 'portfolio',
'paged' => $paged,
'meta_key' => 'portfolio-image',
'posts_per_page' => -1,
'suppress_filters' => false
);
query_posts( $args );

rewind_posts();
?>

Dear Srdjan,

Thank you now I get no error but the translation still doesn't work, do I have to do something in WPML ?

Sorry I made a mistake for the wp-admin it's now updated in the private details. The site has a maintenance page but you access all pages once you have logged in wp-admin.

Thanks,
Julien

Dear Bigul,

I have open a request at Wootheme to have help fomr their side as well and here is the information they gave me :

Hi Julien,

The code for the portfolio section on the homepage is in index.php starting on line 83. This is the section of code for each box:

<div <?php post_class( $post_class ); ?>>
<div class="portfolio-img">
<a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>" class="portfolio-link" title="<?php the_title_attribute(); ?>"><?php woo_image( 'key=portfolio-image&width=214&height=119&class=thumbnail aligncenter&link=img' ); ?></a>
</div>

<h3><a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>" rel="bookmark" title="<?php the_title_attribute(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></a></h3>
<?php if ( $excerpt ) { ?>
<div class="entry">
<?php echo $excerpt; ?>
</div>
<?php } ?>
</div>
The title is being called with <?php the_title(); ?>, the default WordPress Title function so I'm not sure why it's not working. WPML may be able to tell you more.

Hi Julien,

Can you please install and activate the Translation Management add-on? it can be found for download in your account of the wpml.org website.

Thanks!

Dear Amit,

Did you find anything ? I see that you made some changes to the WPML config. Some of the portfolio pages don't display anymore:

Hello Amit,

Please ignore my previous post. I have updated permalinks and now the page loads normally.

I am really hoping you can help with the portfolio items translation though.

All the best,

Julien
