When clicking on a flag, in French or German, it goes to an entirely different page/ url.

That is either in the top navigation and the fotter.

I have disabled all the plugins, kept only the WPLM ones that I use and you can try it out here on my test site:

hidden link

I see also from trying the language links from valeriod that no matter which flag you click on, the language stays the same, so unless there is no translation for the pages

Dear francoisB,

Can you please let us know the WPML and addon plugins version installed?
Do you have any redirect or Cache plugins installed?
Can you please try this:
Go to wordpress admin -> wpml -> support, click on the troubleshooting link at the bottom of the page.
On troubleshooting page
1) Click "Remove ghost entries from translations table" button.
2) Click "General clean up" button.
3) Click "Set language information" button.

Hello Harshad,

I do not have a redirect plugin installed other than a mobile-redirect (redirects to the mobile website for tablets and phones) I do have cache plugins supplied by the server host and I sporadically use the w3tc "empty all caches" feature.

The troubleshooting did not solve the issue.

The WPLM Plugins I use are:

"WPML CMS Nav" Version 1.4 - NOT Activated
"WPML Multilingual CMS" Version 3.0.2-a
"WPML Sticky Links" Version 1.3
"WPML Translation Management" Version 1.9.1
"WPML Media" Version 1.6

For now I deleted the test website and will make another one.

Thank you very much for your help.

Dear francoisB,

We have recently released a new version of WPML CMS plugin and addon plugins 3.1.4

Can you please upgrade WPML and addon plugins to latest version?

Hello Harshad,

I made a mistake - actually the plugins are ALL up to date. I wrote down the wrong ones.

Dear francoisB,

For testing can you please disable all other non-WPML plugins also try to switch your theme to default twenty fourteen/thirteen.

See if in this case it works?

Greetings Harshad,

It works fine now - I deleted the WPML Multilingual CMS and installed it again from repositories.

And cleaned up, as you suggested, in the troubleshooting page.

Thank you for your time and advice,
