Hi Dimitri,

Could you add (just for testing) the 1st code example here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/load_theme_textdomain to your theme's "functions.php" ?

Hello Dimitri,

Had a look, I think in your case you should use this in your "functions.php":

add_action('after_setup_theme', 'my_theme_setup');
function my_theme_setup(){
    load_theme_textdomain('TK');
}

(Since you have no .mo file in your theme folder, we can neglect the secondary 'path' parameter.)

Hello Dimitri,

Thanks for adjusting.
With..

# the "Find references" string I need to involve a programmer, because you have all configured correctly. Gettext + textdomain + translation is there, you can't do more at the moment.

# Browser redirection
For this I recommend to open a new thread.

Hi Andreas,

Hello Dimitri,

Yes, our developers recommend to update first to the latest stable version WPML 3.1.4
and all the add-on plugins.
What is the stable version you can see in your WPML account under "Downloads"

In case it simply doesn't work we can still fall back to the API* function "icl_t()".
It gets the translation straight from String-Translation.

echo icl_t(context, name, value);

Quite sure this will work, but is not the solution for several dozens of "misbehaving" strings but perhaps one or two.

Hello Dimitri,

I think now it works, but please check also again..

We did this:
> Under "WPML > String Translations" we deleted the "Find references" string
> Then we rescanned your theme text strings under "WPML > Theme & Plugins Localization"
> Then "Find references" appeared again as fresh record under "WPML > String Translation"
> Added your previous translations

Why this made a change and what was wrong before needs more investigation.
But you could proceed similarly with other problematic strings.
