I am trying to:
To translate the product attribute 'Delivery Time', but always the original English is shown. I also had the same problem with an attribute 'Clothe Size', but after deleting multiple entries (I think it was 8) in the String Translation and entered it again in the WooCommerce Multilingual this one worked. So I also deleted all the entries for 'Delivery Time' and entered them again in WooCommerce Multilingual, you can see the result in the string translation screen shot of this action. I believe I should have three entries (at least I have so many with my attribute 'Clothe Size'), but I have 5, one even with a bit of Greek thrown in.

I also synchronized the attribute and product variations via the button underneath. Deleted my cache on the server and the browser.

Also it always shows the attribute translated (the pencil symbol), even though the fields where empty. See attached screen shots.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
hidden link

I expected to see:
the translated attribute on the corresponding page

Instead, I got:
english text

The current state with the product attributes, for me it looks like there are more than there should be, and what's up with the Greek word in the 'English' translation (Looks like the term 'Product' got translated there.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Privacy and Security Policy

We have strict policies regarding privacy and access to your information. Please see:
https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/

**IMPORTANT**

- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this: hidden link

I created a staging area and tried it there with the standard theme, the problem still persists, as you can see from the screen shoot.

I also deleted all entries for the 'delivery time' in the string translation, then added them again in the WooCommers Multilingual Attribut dialog. I find it strange how many entries are then created in the String Translation for this. (other screen shoot).

I left the staging site up, you can find when you log in under 'WP Staging'.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. To best troubleshoot the issue, please make a snapshot of your site using the Duplicator plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/. This will allow me to try and duplicate the error so that I can run further tests without interrupting your live site.

Once the snapshot is complete, either upload the snapshot ZIP file and the installer.php file to a file sharing service such as Dropbox (and share the link in your reply) or right click the Duplicator links in your wp-admin and paste in your reply.
Please note: It is important to reduce the size of the package so please exclude some paths like /cache or /uploads and also exclude archives and media files.I will also need the username and password of an account that was created BEFORE creating the duplicator package.I will enable the next reply to be private so only you and I have access to it!

Thank you for your collaboration. Have a nice day.

Hi, not sure if I should open a new ticket or use this one or the other one.
Just now I wanted to translate the sliders on our page. I added the German translation in the string translation, as you can see in the screen shot, but no translation is showing.

Hello,

Thank you for your patience while waiting for a solution. I took a detailed look in your website using the provided duplicator package and could translate and show the frontend translation properly at my localhost. I also translated some more occurrencies of 'Delivery Time' in your website and now it shows the translated attributes label properly as you can see at: hidden link.

Your issues related to missing translations in your website frontend most likely happened due your cache settings and plugin, the same I can say for your screenshot where it shows your attributes as translated even with an empty field, in any case, your issue is now fixed. Please, let me know if you need any additional assistance and clarifications. Have a nice day.

Hi there,
did you make any changes to the website? The 'Delivery Time' now seems to work properly, great. I still have a strange entry in the string translation (see screen shot), just ignore it?

Sadly the slides on the front page still don't show up translated.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates, glad it works now. The only action I took in your website was to make sure everything occurrencie of 'Delivery Time' was translated. As regarding the greek string you can delete it as it doesn't seem to be used anywhere. We kindly ask you to open a new ticket so we can deal specifically with your homepage slider issues, the reason we ask that is to make it easier for our customers to find solutions for their issues on a topic basis. Thank you for your collaboration and understanding. Have a nice day.

When I tried to delete the strings with partly Greek in them (for delivery time an clothe size), I got an error message stating that WPML could not delete the string, but they were gone afterwards.

When I was deleting those terms, I noticed that the translation for the product category has a separate entry for the German translation, saying it is English and waiting for translation.

All these little things make it seem that there is a fundamental problem somewhere, no?

the top four entries where not there a the time I wrote the last post. In the first two the Greek term for Product is used, for the next two the German terms are used. These entries should not be there, or am I wrong in that assumption. Where are they coming from?
