Hi, I noticed that the stock of our translations is out of off sync. Also when i try to move the products for the menu order they don't sync eather. I have tried to sync them trough the troubleshoot>Synchronize data into translations>Synchronize stock for products and product variations. But this didn't change it. Any idea what this could be?

The wordpress core is recently updated. Not all plugins are yet fully compatible, and the core isn't stable if I see the issues online. This issue is present from before that update.

Hi,

I visited the product with SKU 'B 86264' but I can't see the problem. Could you describe step-by-step how to reproduce the sync problem with this product?

The problem is that the stock in the translation is set to 0.
If you try to order it on the frontend in let's say english it will state there is no stock.
Not sure why the stock is not synched after creating the translations.
If you update the main language it will sync them.
But that is only a workaround i guess.

You can try to delete a translation of the product I gave you and add it again the stock will still be out of sync.

Next to this issue the menu ordering is also not synched.
So I guess the meta data from products aren't synched either.

Hi,
Thank you for your message

1.- Can you confirm that hidden link is now synchronized and showing the same stock status as the product in the original language?

2.- To sync the menus, you need to follow the steps described in https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-menus/ -> How Can I Sync Menus Into Other Languages?

Hi,

I have tested it and seems like the stock is working.
Also made an order in the Italian version and the stock in the main language changed accordingly.

Then I tried to sort some products.
But this didn't work.
The sorting order wasn't synched.

Hi,
I'm glad to hear that the original issue with the product stock has been solved.

Can you elaborate on the new sort problem you found so we can have a better understanding?

Can you tell me afterwards how you solved it so I can test it and apply it to the live?
I also see that some setup settings changed like the Language titles in the language menu.
Hopefully that's all that has changed.

I also see on some none woocommerce pages the cart is showing a number next to it instead of inside the cart. Did you update something?

The sort issue was already there.
It's simple, pick any product in the sorting page and drag it to a new position.
When done you will see that only the current language has changed position in the product category pages. Normally the sorting changes in all languages.

Hi there,

1.- To solve the issue with the stock, I applied the troubleshooting steps highlighted in the attached screenshot. You can find these options in WooCommerce -> WCML -> Status tab -> Troubleshooting link (bottom right)

2.- No, I haven't updated any other options on the site.

3.- Could you explain what you mean by "pick any product in the sorting page"? Can you share a URL?

1) Strange since I tried this before I hit the forums here.
I'll try it again on the live then.
2) OK
3) If you go to products (backend), you can select sorting on the top of that page. There you can drag products. If you drag a product to a new position it should be the same position on the frontend. Now it only works on one language, while in the past they synced.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your message

I'm not familiar with this Sorting functionality. Can you explain where it comes from? Does it come from WooCommerce, or a third-party functionality (plugin, theme, etc)

Hello Carlos,

It's a basic functionality from Woocommerce.
