Sorry that I did not respond here in time, I was on a sick leave these days.

I have already escalated the problem that you are reporting to our developers and if you want to edit in this way, once the developers review the problem, they will decide if they are going to fix this and we will update you here in this ticket or in the changelog of the plugin (if the fix is implemented and released).

I understand that you are used to editing the posts in bulk without looking for the proper language as a parameter to represent the actual language, but this is how it is in WPML since the beginning and we rely on that parameter when saving.

The proper way to access these products without the translation editor should be not by just replacing the ID in the URL, but by using the dashboard and edit link to do that or to replace also the proper value for the lang parameter.
By doing that the translations will never be disconnected one from another.
