Background of the issue:
I am trying to display the author's bio in multiple languages using the WPML plugin. The bio is translated in the WPML back-end string translation. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
The author's bio is displayed only in one language (Chinese) across all language versions of the website, despite being translated.

Questions:
Why is the author's bio not displaying in the correct language on the front-end?
How can I ensure the translated bio appears in the intended language?

Hi,

The PublishPress Authors plugin creates authors as a custom taxonomy for posts. To enable translation, please follow these steps:

1. Go to WPML > Settings > Taxonomies Translation and set the "author" taxonomy to Translatable.
2. Then, navigate to WPML > Taxonomy Translation, select the "author" taxonomy, and provide the necessary translations for the terms.

If this doesn’t resolve the issue, could you please install the plugin on the following test site: hidden link, assign one of the authors, and attempt a translation? This will help us determine whether it’s a compatibility issue that requires further debugging.
