How can I put my language switcher on my menu bar. I have manually built my drop down menu within my nav.php file. I'd like to add the language switcher just to the left of the "lightbox" drop down menu option. Is there a way for a webmaster moron like myself to do this? hidden link

Thank you.

The drop-down language switcher can be added to your theme by inserting this PHP code: <?php do_action('icl_language_selector'); ?> into your nav.php file, just above where the manual drop down code starts.

Hmmmm. it doesn't like that very much. Here is a screen grab of the before and after results:

The idea is either to push the language selector all the way to the right as it is now on the left, or to include it as a menu item in my nav bar, but the selector is too wide. I'd like to just reduce it to the two flags. I tried following the directions on the support listed here by adding the necessary code to my functions.php file and custom css but it produced no results. The language selector remained the same. So there are two issues I am trying to resolve here actually.

Can you send me you wp-admin details to my email address? including the file name where your manual drop down exists.

I have added the custom language switcher code which suits your theme into your theme's function.php file and then gave the call into nav.php file to display.

Please check your site now.
