Hello WPML Support,
For some pages, product descriptions, tables and blog articles, we sometimes need to create custom HTML blocks in UX Builder, combined with custom CSS. We do this because the standard editor/layout options are sometimes not sufficient to achieve the layout we need, especially for comparison tables, FAQ blocks, product information sections and more visually structured content.
However, we have noticed that when a page contains a custom HTML block in UX Builder, it is not possible to translate that page properly inside the WPML Translation Editor.
Because of that, our current workaround is as follows:
1. We create the custom HTML/CSS layout on the default language site.
2. Before translating or updating the page in WPML, we temporarily disable or remove the UX/HTML block on the default language.
3. We then translate or update the page in WPML.
4. After that, we enable the UX/HTML block again on the default language.
5. We copy the HTML content, translate it manually or with ChatGPT for each language, and paste the translated HTML into the corresponding translated page.
Do you see any disadvantages or risks with this workflow?
