Hi,
I'm trying to solve a problem I'd never had to solve before.
I have a website in french.
I have added a complete translation in english with WPML.

Now, I need to add Italian and spanish but there will be only a few pages with translations in these 2 languages.
The website behavior needs to be this one:
- when content is translated for this 2 languages, show the translated content,
- when the content is not translated, show <b>the english translation</b> and not the original (french)

What is the best way to do that?

Thanks in advance

Is French the original language? Do you have it set to skip translations or home page under languages?

Hi Amber,
yes, french is the original language.
My settings are : Skip translation if not translated

I would like to replce this by "Go to english if not translated"

regards

Can you update to the latest version of beta 4 at the bottom of this page?

Hi Amber,
I'm sorry but I can't update and especially not with a beta version.
Does this new version offer new features to solve my problem?

This is Ahmed and I'm taking care of this, hope it's OK!

I'm afraid that is not a feature of wpml yet, and such a script would need custom coding which is beyond the scope of our support.
This being the case please consider contacting one of our certified partners from this link: http://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-contractors/
You will get the custom assistance you need to get on with your project.
