I am trying to: register WPML key in my wordpress/woocommerce website moskitofree.com

I've the same probleme of this topic : https://wpml.org/forums/topic/code-not-working/

But, before the 3.9.4 update, my website was in 3.9.3 and up to date and it still impossible to register my key. I've found this topic too : https://wpml.org/forums/topic/unable-to-register-wpml/. The solution is "The issue was caused by the base64_decode() that was not enabled on the server" but how can i disabled this things on my server ?

While waiting that one of my teammates takes care of your case, can you please try disabling the "Keep wpml.org up-to-date about which theme and plugins I use" option and try again to register the site?

The "Keep wpml.org up-to-date about which theme and plugins I use" option is founded in Plugins -> Add new -> Commercial tab.

Could you tell me if the issue is solved after deactivate this option?

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Hi Carlos,

I updated the plugin.

I have disabled the "Keep wpml.org up-to-date about which theme and plugins I use" option but when I try to save my key nothing happens ... The page is reloading but I fall back on the interface that asks me to activate my registration key again.

Thank you very much for your feedback.

I would like to ask you to follow this steps:
- Create a full backup of the site before making any change.
- Make sure that the URL in your wpml.org account corresponds to the URL of the site.
- Deactivate and activate WPML and try to register it again.

If the issue persist then
- Deactivate all the plugins that are not related to WPML.
- Switch for a moment to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Seventeen.
- Try to register the plugin again.

Could you tell me the result of this steps?

Thanks for Help.

For info, I use a Child theme of Flatsome.

I've just download the Twenty seventeen theme (without activating it...). Then I've just Deactivate the following plugin :

- Akismet
- All-in one WP migration
- BackWPup
- BRAW BREACH AVOIDER
- Block Bad Queries (BBQ)

Then, I've try to register with disabling the option "Keep wpml.org up-to-date about which theme and plugins I use" and that worked !

I hope you can offer better solutions for this validation. It should not be necessary to disable everything and switch theme in order to activate a license.

Is this the best we can really expect? Please... I have been using WPML for over a year as a member and you do not solve this issue definitely.

I disabled the option you mention and the issue persists, now I am going to disable everything plus switch theme to see if I can finally enable this license....

UPDATE: DIsabled all plugins, switched to generic WP Theme and I still cannot validate this license.
