Hi,
I am using a multi language site with a different domain/language.
I have removed the .ch domain for the swiss language in the WPML Language tab and reserved the permalink, but the site is still accessible (ex. hidden link).

What I have to do to remove it correctly?

Thanks

Hi, yes I have managed it putting a 301 redirect from the .ch domain to the .de

Still I would like how to clean remove all .ch translation from WPML.
There's a global procedure I can use or I have to remove manually entry by entry?

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

We have a client with similar question here: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/removing-language-and-related-posts-pages-etc/

I think the database query might work for you. If you want to try it, please test this on a staging site first if possible, to make sure it doesn't remove content that you still want on your site.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
Dennis

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

As per our 2nd tier team, as of the moment we don't have an easy way to remove those translated content from a deleted language.

However, we already had a feature request filed to cover this feature and will be handled by our developer team.

It seems that you can only safely remove them manually.

Kind regards,
Dennis
