This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client needed to reset the translation memory for the Spanish language to apply a less formal tone to translations, but was concerned about affecting other languages. Additionally, there was uncertainty about whether the linking between their development site and main site to share the pay-as-you-go account and translation memory was functioning correctly.
Solution:
We escalated the issue to our developers who successfully reset the translation memory specifically for the English to Spanish language pair without affecting other languages. This allowed the client to translate content with the desired less formal setting. We also ensured that the client was kept informed throughout the process via email updates and direct communication in the support ticket.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your specific case, we recommend opening a new support ticket. Additionally, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I’ve translated our website to Spanish using the automatic formality setting. After reviewing, we decided that a less formal tone would fit better. When I try to delete the existing translation and retranslate the page, it still uses the old settings from the translation memory. When I add new text, it applies the correct less formal tone which signals that the issue is the translation memory. I had a chat with one of your support agents while the chat option was still available, and they mentioned that you'd be able to reset the translation memory for us. I’m currently updating translations on our dev site 'dhis2.dev.kodeks.no' and tried to link it to our main site dhis2.org to share the pay-as-you-go account and translation memory, but I'm not sure if that’s working correctly.

Symptoms:
When I try to delete the existing translation and retranslate the page, it still uses the old settings from the translation memory.

Questions:
Could you please clear the current translation memory for Spanish language so we can translate content with the less formal setting?
Is the linking between our dev site 'dhis2.dev.kodeks.no' and main site dhis2.org to share the pay-as-you-go account and translation memory working correctly?

Hello Matthieu,

Our team checked it and they have been able to reset the Translation Memory for the language pair English -> Spanish.

This should be fixed now, can you please test it?

Best,
Mateus
