Hey There,

Using the SDL Language Cloud TMS Service.

Our team has completed a page translation on the Trados/SDL end: hidden link

However on the WP end within WPML it only shows as in progress: hidden link

Hi,

Can you please go to WPML → Translation Management and click the Check status and get the translations button, and check if it helps retrieve the translation from SDL?

Please check our guide here.

Regards,
Itamar.

Hey Itamar,

Have tried that, unfortunately it doesn't grab the translation and the "project" remains as in progress: hidden link

Hi,

We would like to know whether you implemented on your site the workaround from this errata.

https://wpml.org/errata/fatal-error-uncaught-exception-datetime__construct-failed-to-parse-time-string/

We also need WordPress admin access to your site and FTP access. We need to check for any PHP errors in the debug.log file. Can you please approve this?

If you need further help with this, please share the access details to your site with me.

Hi, and thanks for the access details.

The FTP access does not work for me I get:

Error:	Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error:	Could not connect to server

Could you please check and correct it?

Thanks,
Itamar.

Hey Itamar,

Your form asked for file path and I can now see it's appending to the host. If you can remove the file path and connect to the root it should work. Apologies I had assumed file path was only needed for you to navigate to the correct folder.

Hi,

I'm sorry, but even without the file path, I get the same response and can not access it with FTP.

I've noticed that this site is registered as a development site. Please see the attached screenshot.

Was this the site you sent the translation jobs to SDL from?

Regards,
Itamar.

Hey Itamar,

To confirm the same credentials but with port 2222. We're able to connect so likely just a missing port.

Hi,

Our Translation Service specialist talked to SDL, and this is the response they wanted us to pass on to you.

Please check in Trados if the “project” is still in progress. If the project has been completed, it is hidden from the connector. The project must be left in progress, with tasks at the “Target File Generation” step. The connector will then download the translations and automatically complete the project if everything is successful.

SDL also asked you to tell us your customer name on their system to try and fix this issue.

Could you please pass this information on to us?

Thanks,
Itamar.

Hey There,
SDL has asked me to share the following:

Account name: MitacsTrados Live Team
Account ID: 499761
Language Cloud Account ID6099a5660cc4884400e72c82

The mentioned recent project (Project: Mitacs Devs-WPML-en-9 - fr-CA) was also completed on the Trados Team side (also, on the Customer Portal).  Could you also please check with WPML support that 'though the status shows 'In Progress' on the WPML connector side, will they be able to get any chance to see and/or download the Target File ?

If you have any WPML connectors logs on the recently generated project (Project: Mitacs Devs-WPML-en-9 - fr-CA) from the date of the created project (i.e., 19 Dec 2022 ), please can you to share with us here in this case.
