Hi, Would you be willing to provide me with WordPress credentials so I could investigate the issue directly? And give me an example of the content which when added to the basket, it shows this message? I marked your next reply as private so that you can safely add credentials. |

So you add some content to translation cart and you get these messages when you click "Translate", or even before you click the button to send it for the translation? Can you send me a screenshot? I've added various content (templates, pages, etc), translated and not translated into the cart, this is what I see. |

I am not sure why but I don't see any of these template as on your screenshot. We are working on the same hidden link site, correct? |

I've tested it with several pages, templates, and more. After running the troubleshooting steps (setting language information, fixing term counts, and assigning the correct post types for translations), everything should now be functioning as expected. Can you please try it on your end and let me know if it works for you? |

Hi Bruno, I was able to translate most of the items now. But with the two teams that I have marked in the attached images, I still have problems. They might be rooted in another issue - but I am not sure. Can you have a look at this? I have extended the temporary link accordingly. Kind regards Florian |

When checking the page at hidden link, it appears that the language is correctly assigned. However, the corresponding English version hidden link does not seem to be properly linked as a translation, even though it is connected in the system. The same issue is with the following page: Based on this, I believed that removing the English translation and recreating it as a new translation job might resolve the issue, especially since the original and translation have different post IDs. Unfortunately, during this process, when I removed the English version of the archived page from the trash, the original page was somehow also deleted. I sincerely apologize for this oversight. I noticed you have backups in place via UpdraftPlus: Given that there may be inconsistencies in the database entries for both the original and translated pages, my recommendation for the fastest and cleanest solution is to delete both versions of the affected pages and recreate them from scratch. This will ensure they are treated as new entries in the database, allowing you to assign translations properly through the translation management system. Please let me know how you’d like to proceed or if you would prefer I assist with any part of this process. |

Hello Bruno, yes, I would need assistance on this. You said original and translated versions of the pages are deleted - but when I call the links, they are both still there. I would not mind deleting both versions - I have backup on dev.organisationsberatung.net so it would be very easy to copy the German translated content and afterwards translate it to English. But from what I can see, even deleting the pages doesn't work ... What can be done about this? Best regards Florian |

What I mean that both these pages should be deleted from the site, removed from the trash and then created as new pages. Can you create these 2 new pages in German only so I could check what happens when I try translating them? |

Hi Bruno, certainly. But both have sub-pages - what happens to those when I delete pages in the middle of the path? |

in addition: Whenever I try to edit one of the problematic pages or other pages that have incomplete translations, I run into "internal server error" for all URLs beneath the top level page. When I reset the permalink settings, everything is back to "normal" - until I start editing one of the URLs that I have described above. Could there be an underlying issue that we have not yet spotted correctly? This behavior has started to appear since I I have translated many pages during the last 3-4 days. This is new behavior of the site.... So can this be related to the issues that we have discussed in this thread so far: - Sites are not translatable Best regards Florian |
