Background of the issue:
I am trying to set up WPML on my website. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
Instead of seeing the home page, I got a 404 error.

Questions:
Why am I getting a 404 error instead of the home page?
How can I correctly set up WPML to avoid this error?

The WPML plugins were probably installed on this website before. Something is wrong in the setup.
Not a single product can be seen on front end (default language).
The website doesn't contain a single translated content for the moment.
Default language is messed up.

Fix post type counts function helped, along with reset of the wpml data
