This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You have imported posts from a non-WordPress site and now have two versions of each post, one in English and one in German. You need to set the German version as the translation of the English version, but the previous instructions you found are outdated due to a plugin interface overhaul.

I have imported the posts from my client's old website (not WordPress), and there are two versions of each post - one in English, and one in German (example screenshot of what the list of posts looks like is attached). How can I set the German version of each post to be the translation of its English counterpart? I saw a comment in the forum on this issue from Feb 2022 (https://wpml.org/forums/topic/how-to-set-a-second-post-to-be-a-translation-of-another-post/), but the plugin interface seems to have had an overhaul since then, and those instructions don't seem to be relevant anymore.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support.

I'll recommend the following guides:

- https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-link-already-translated-pages/

The interface should be the same as mentioned in these guides. If you see any discrepancy or difference, please take some screenshots and highlight/mark these for better understanding.

Regards.
