Hello

I introduced shipping classes that I assigned to the products and I also translated them by means of the button "translate shipping classes". On the English page (English is the main language) it works fine.

In the French and the German versions the system tells me that it cannot find the shipping options. (Before introducing classes it worked fine). This indicates that I did something wrong or incomplete.

To look at it you have to go to hidden link (the shop will only go public in about 2 weeks). I am sending you print screens from the English page (where it works) and from the French (where it does not) so you have a comparison.

Please advice how I have to correct this.

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

1.- I kindly ask you to follow this steps in order to isolate the cause of the issue:
- Back up your site first before making any change, this is for security reasons.
- Update all outdated plugins and themes.
- Flush all cache memory that might exists.
- Go to WPML -> Support -> Troubleshooting link -> Apply the troubleshooting options highlighted in the attached image.
- Translate the Shipping options one more time to make sure they are well translated plus the entry in the database is refreshed when you save the translations.
- Re-save the permalink structure.
- Go to Woocoommerce -> Woocommerce Multilingual -> Status tab -> Fix any error that might appear.
- Go to Woocoommerce -> Woocommerce Multilingual -> Settings tab -> Troubleshooting link -> Select all options and click 'Apply'.

If the issue persists then:
- Deactivate all the plugins that are not related to WPML.
- Switch for a moment to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Seventeen.
- If the issue is gone, activate one by one to see with which one there is an interaction issue.
Could you tell me the result of this steps?

2.- Please increase the PHP Memory Limit. Minimum requirements are 128Mb: https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/
You can add this to wp-config.php to increase WP memory:

/** Memory Limit */
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M');
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M' );

- Add it above the line /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

Hi Carlos, thank you. I check my plugins daily and update immediately. So they are typicalla up to date.

I indicated you the wrong instance. stilettissimo.com is the prodcutive one. We are working on the test environment which has the very same configuration.

I did everything as you said, except the change on the wp-config.php.

a) The issue is still there (it is also on my productive system which is independent from this one)
b) After testing the standard theme I have now an error message on my own theme (image attached)
b) If I add your code to the wp-config.php, I get an error: Parseerror: syntax error, unexpected '&' in /home/httpd/vhosts/stilettissimo.com/shopping.stilettissimo.com/wp-config.php on line 84

I also created logins for you on my WordPress installation and an FTP access. Please give me the link to the private messages so I can give it to you. This is only the test environment and it is backed up automatically every 24 hours.

I would like to ask you to run this tests:
- Double check if the issue persists with a new product.
- Double check if the issue persists if you create a new shipping class.

If the issue persists after the steps above then I will create a test site with a fresh new WordPress install and we will try to reproduce it there.

I created a new class with an existing product. Did not help
I created a new shipping class. Did not help
I deleted all products, all categories and tried anew. Did not help
I created a new category with a new shipping class and with a new product. It did not help.
Moreover, my footer with all the translations broke during one of our tests. I'll get my provider to make me a restore of the status of August 12.
