Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

It is single product page add to cart button, right?
How did you change the default text there?

Are you able to find this string/text in WPML > String Translation ?

Let me know.

Regards,
Riffaz.

Hi,

Yes the single cart button.
- so the default text in the button should be "Add To Cart" right?
- How did you change the default text there?

Hi,

I thing i didnt change it to english, it was english from the beginning on.
- so it should come from theme or a plugin.
- your theme or a plugin changed the default text of this.
- but you are using the7 theme
- as much as I know the7 theme has no such option/behavior.
- anyhow, we have to check this in a fresh installation.
- but before that please disable all the plugins except WPML and check that button text.
- if the button text changed to default text then the issue comes from a plugin
- activate the plugin one by one and find which one is causing this.

If the above does not help
1. please go to : hidden link
2. install your theme.
3. configure the WPML as you have it on your site. at the last step just click next (site key)
4. add product and check the add to cart button text.
5. if you suspect this is caused by some other setting or plugin do it too
6. let us know how to check this in this test site.

Hi,

Thank you for your patient.

As I supspected it comes from a plugin (WooCommerce subscription)

I could be able to find it in admin text and translated : hidden link

The sign up now the text is defined as options, so if you want you can go to WooCommerce->Settings->Subscriptions and change it accordingly, normally if somethings is defined as option we term them as admin_texts.

To translate admin_texts you have two options which is language configuration file (wpml-config.xml) and another is "Translate texts in admin screens »" from string translation.

To fix the issue I used the second method as follows:
1) Go to string translation
2) Go to bottom of the page and click "Translate texts in admin screens »"
3) Once click search for
"woocommerce_subscriptions_add_to_cart_button_text"
&
"woocommerce_subscriptions_order_button_text" and clicked apply.
4) After you click apply the string will appear in string translation: hidden link
5) Translate it accordingly.

Hopefully, this will fix your issue as it is on the migrated site now.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Riffaz.
