This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I intermittenly see and error "DUPLICATE ENTRY for..."

Solution: - open the database - Search for a table called "XX_icl_translations" - Access it and then search for a column called "trid" - Find in that column the entries: that seem duplicated in the error you mention - Delete them

I am trying to: Navigate the site

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: All pages except homepage

I expected to see: The clicked page

Instead, I got: Error message - database error

The error there is saying there are duplicate elements in the database for conent that should be uinque.

This usually happens when there are communication errors between the site and the database so the same element is added twice.

I can fix this for you if you allow me access to the site, allow me FTP access and confirm you have backed-up the site.

Instead, if you want to do this yourself this is what you can do:

- open the database
- Search for a table called "wpu8_icl_translations"
- Access it and then search for a column called "trid"
- Find in that column the entries: 1484, 1526, 1540, 1549
- Delete them
- that should do it.

Sometimes that happens again, so you can run the same procedure until the error is gone.
