My sitemap is incomplete and don't contains all pages in all languages. Contains only pages and products from main language. This seems was happend after I have assigned a folder (en) to main language.

Hi, simply check the XML Sitemap: hidden link

For example: page-sitemap.xml

Hi Marco,
Thank you very much for your message.

It seems that the sitemaps are working correctly, however to see the sitemaps in the secondary languages you need to change the URL to the correspondent language:
- hidden link - English (default language)
- hidden link - Italian
- hidden link - Spanish

You can find more information in this link: https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/using-wordpress-seo-with-wpml/#translate-sitemaps

Best regards,
Carlos

Thanks for the explanation Carlos. Anyway as you see in the language configuration, I don't have a "different domain per language" but I have different languages in directories.

In the beginning I had one sitemap with inside all links in different languages. Suddenly, after I have introduced the option "Use directory for default language" (I think this is it) the sitemap has changed.

At this point I don't understand if this is good for Google Search Console or bad...

Hi Marco,
Thank you for your message.

I would like to ask you to follow this steps and double check if the issue persists:
- Go to WPML -> Languages -> Language URL format -> Deselect ' Use directory for default language' option -> Save the changes -> Re-save the permalink structure.
- Flush all cache memory.

Could you tell me the result of the steps above?

Regards,
Carlos

Hi Marco,

I have created a test site with a fresh new WordPress installation and WPML plugins installed and setup already. I would like to ask you to access this test site using this link:hidden link then, install the necessary plugins and add the necessary information to reproduce the issue. This will help us to isolate the cause of the issue.

Could you tell me if you are able to reproduce the issue in this test site?

Regards,
Carlos
