Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

It seems your theme is creating or having a specific method for this.
Did you check this with your theme support?

Are you able to find the tittle strings in WPML > string translations?
Did you translate it?

let me know.

Regards,
Riffaz.

Hi Riffaz,

Thanks for your time.
This is my first WPML site, so I'm not very experienced with it.

The website was made by a 3rd party that stopped working with us.
I'm not sure if its a custom theme, hidden link does not recognize the theme.

Below attached string translations image.

hi,

If you are asking about default site title, you can simply translate it here just by selecting WP domain: hidden link
It comes from WordPress.
So should be able to translate it.

If you are asking about something else let me know.

It only happens on a subpage, not the homepage.
Can I send you some more information?

Correct english: hidden link
Incorrect germen: hidden link
Incorrect french: hidden link

Please look at the site title.

Hi,

Sorry, I do not work on Fridays and Saturdays.

This comes from a code line that you use to create the title.
This should be in your header.php or in another file where use use a line of code.
We need to make it translatable or make it to take page name only automatically.

Actually, it is a custom work.
Anyhow, do you know which file you are using for this?
Can you send that file?

Hi,

thank you for the details.

these category pages , right.

you can change that page names as you want when you edit it in German site.
I changed it to this page hidden link which is the same page: hidden link
Check the title of cloudways site. it shows correctly.

So how to do this?
go to the category you want to edit when you are in German site : hidden link
scroll down to the bottom
on the seo section click on 'edit snippet'
change it as you want: hidden link

Hopefully, this will fix your issue.
