Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. As you have a Blog Version (https://wpml.org/purchase/ ), In this version you can only use WPML Multilingual CMS plugin to translate Pages, posts, Custom post types and you will have to maintain string translations via .po/.mo files and you need to add pages/posts translation manually whereas in CMS version, with String Translations module you can use the GUI to translate strings.

You can check the full list of add-ons here: https://wpml.org/documentation/wpml-core-and-add-on-plugins/

Please see the following link to our documentation on how to translate posts manually without the Translation Editor:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/page-builders/translating-content-created-with-page-builders-using-manual-translation/

If you want to use all those plugins then you need to upgrade your account type.

Thank you

Hi,

If you want to translate strings that coming from theme or plugin option, then you need WPML String Translation plugin to be able to translate it. And unfortunately, WPML String Translation is not included in the Blog license.

If you want to translate strings that are hard coded in the theme or plugin, you can use .mo files to have the translation. This way it works with the Blog license.

If you want to display language specific text using some custom code in your theme. You can use ‘ICL_LANGUAGE_CODE’ constant to get current language code.

First, you should find how your theme is showing the particular text. Then you can use following code to display language specific content:

<?php if(ICL_LANGUAGE_CODE == 'en'){ ?>
                  English text goes here
<?php } else{ ?>
                 Other language text goes here
<?php } ?>

Thank you
