Hi,

I'm using WPML to switch between languages in my web page. Everything works fine except Soliloquy Lite sliders. Language switcher does not affect slider languages.

I'm testing this in hidden link . Using different image ids for different languages.

Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for contacting the WPML support!

The Soliloquy Lite sliders plugin is not part of our plugins compatibility list: http://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/. This does not mean it won't work but it has not been tested by our compatibility team.

First, to make sure it's made compatible, can you check if you can find a wpml-config.xml file at the root folder of this plugin?

Could you also provide us with your debug information? Just follow these steps: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

Regards,
Pierre

Hi,

I don't see a wpml-config.xml file unfortunately. I put also some screenshots to make it easier to understand the situation. The problem is nothing changes when I make the translation. Now I'm working on a test site to figure out how to solve this but my original web site will have two sliders to be translated.

I need to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site - preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible - in order to be of better help.

You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Please take a full backup before (You can use the "Duplicator" plugin to do this).

Regards,
Pierre

I think your slider plugin is not compliant with WPML.

However, I can suggest you 3 solutions:

#1. Create one slider for each language. This way, you will have to use a different shortcode on the english and the turkish page.

#2. Use another slider plugin. Here you can find WPML compatible plugins: http://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/

#3. If you can provide the link to the plugin's page and the author's contact details (name & email), we can get in touch with him and suggest him to join our "Go-Global" program (http://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/go-global-program/) to make his extension compatible. Note that this ultimate option might take a long time as it depends on authors efforts and cooperation.

Let me know if one solution suits you.

Regards,
Pierre
