We encounter very slow loading times with our WordPress website and on inspection we found that we have a lot of very slow queries that are made by WPML

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing performance issues in regards to WPML.

First, please make sure to to follow our guide for preventing performance issues and apply the suggested changes. If you will still find slow queries caused by WPML we can offer migrate your site to our test server for further debugging. Let me know if this might be convenient for you?

Did you already enable the wp-debug feature. If not, please obtain the debug.log file and let us know about any given errors. It might be that there are present database errors.
