I am trying to:
See the Spanish version but it only shows the english version?

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
hidden link

I expected to see:
The Spanish version as an option

Instead, I got:
Just the english version

Hello @adamw-15, welcome to the WPML support Forum!

Probably the home is not yet translated. Please try the following:
- Go to Pages > All Pages
- Click on the "+" icon of the homepage, to create a new translation
- FIll all fields, check all "Translation is complete" fields and save

Please let me know if it worked for you.

All the best,
Diego

I might be really naive but I thought this plugin auto translated the content? I'm assuming i need to get the content translated and then add it in the + field? 🙂

Hi there,

WPML is a tool that allows you to translate your website, but it's not build to create the translations automatically (machine translation). In fact this is a practice that is not recommended as it can seriously affect the SEO of the website.

However, ee recently implemented a similar feature in Advanced Translation Editor. Please take a look at this topic: https://wpml.org/faq/does-wpml-support-machine-translation/

Regards,
Diego
