Hello,

I have now disabled the WPML plugins, so the website should be stable again.

Could you please contact your hosting support and ask them to increase the PHP Maximum Execution Time value?

Once that is done, please push a fresh copy of the website to the staging site, and I will continue investigating the issue there safely without affecting the live website.

Regards,
Drazen

Hello,

Thanks, but I already did that when I split the ticket, by disabling WPML directly from the database entries, so you can work on your website.

Could you please check with your hosting provider if it is possible to increase the Maximum Execution Time value from the server side?

Once that is done, I will continue checking the issue on the staging site and verify if it still happens there.

Regards,
Drazen

WordPress.com said it is not possible to increase the Maximum Execution Time value from the server side. Please let me know what to do. it's been 4 days and everything is stopped because of the translation. if it will not work let me know.

Hello,

Sorry for the delayed reply. Please note that we do not work during weekends, so replies can sometimes take a bit longer.

I understand that for you this may look like the same issue, but the first issue was related to broken WPML database tables, which prevented WPML from being configured correctly. That issue was resolved in the first ticket.

On Friday, we opened this new ticket specifically to investigate the second issue related to translations and execution limits further.

I will continue checking it now and will get back to you as soon as possible with more information or the next steps.

Regards,
Drazen

Hello,

Thanks for your patience.

I am still checking the issue. On the staging site, I am able to activate and configure WPML, but afterward I encounter another issue.

What is strange is that everything works fine on my localhost using a copy of your website. Because of that, I suspect there may be some hosting-side restriction causing related issues, for example incomplete plugin uploads or missing files. It is difficult to say with certainty, but that is currently my suspicion since the site works correctly on my local environment.

Would it be possible to check this with your hosting provider or perhaps test the website on another hosting environment?

If not, could you please try re-uploading the main WPML plugin on the staging site? For me, the upload process takes unusually long, and I suspect it may not be completing fully, which could result in missing files and cause these issues.

Please try either:

- Uploading the WPML ZIP file directly again
- Or using a file manager / FTP to make sure all WPML plugin files are uploaded completely

I also tried using a file manager plugin for this, but due to the nature of the hosting environment it does not seem to detect the real plugin folder correctly so it shows me wrong one and I can not manage or upload plugins.

So best way forward for now is either new complete re-upload on staging site, so we can test further or try on another hosting provider.

Please let me know how it goes and I will do my best to help further.

Regards,
Drazen

Hello dear,
I saw that 2 WPML plugins are active on the staging site. only the string one is not active, what do you wish to do? delete them all and re-install again?

Sorry, in the staging site, 2 WPML are not active, and only the WPML String Translation is active now. Please let me know if you're working on it or I should delete and install the zip file of the otgs-installer-plugin

Hello,

can you please install WPML Multilingual CMS version 4.9.3, which is the latest version of our main plugin.

You can download it directly from your WPML account on the Downloads page or using the following link:
