OK, we will use the search option thanks.

We have noticed that when adding translation to older posts, the translated post date is different (more recent) than that of the original post in English.
How can we keep the original date unchanged of the translated post?
Also, we would like to do the same for the 'Last Updated' date which is shown on top of each post if possible.

Thanks

Hi.

To copy the publishing date of a post to the translated post, please do the following.
1. Go to WPML -> Settings -> Posts and pages synchronization
2. Check the 'Copy publishing date to translations' option.
3. Save the settings.

Note: You might need to update the translated posts for the original date to be shown after that you change the settings.

Please let me know if it is working for you.

Regards,
Itamar.

Hi,

We have edited the WPML settings according to your instructions and also updated the already translated posts to fix the date. We will monitor if the future translated posts will keep the same date as the original post.

There is another small CSS issue now after translating a page.

We have translated a page containing a table and the table shows with different CSS, which causes the layout of the page to show slightly different.

English URL: hidden link
Russian URL: hidden link

We also noticed that in the English page edit mode there are more fields/options available under 'Custom fields'. In the Russian page edit mode there are fewer fields, so not sure if this is related to the issue.

Please advise , thank you.

Hi.

I'm glad that publishing date issue seems to be OK now.
Please report here if there is any problem with this option.

Itamar.
