Tell us what you are trying to do?

Hi,
I am new to WPML and want to translate the Real Estate 7 theme. However i have some questions and troubles:

2) Google maps and the property listings does not show for the second language on homepage and the listing does not work for the second language here: hidden link

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hi,

I see your theme in our compatible list : https://wpml.org/theme/wp-pro-real-estate-7/
Anyhow, it was checked months ago.

Did you check if there are settings that should be set to display this in theme option?
Did you check this with your theme support?

Could you please get back to us after checking this with your theme support?

Regards,
Riffaz.

Hi,

We need to check this in a fresh installation.

please,
1. go to hidden link
2. install your theme
3. configure the WPML as you have it on your site. at the last step just click next (site key)
4. create only one page/listing/property
5. create the search page like this hidden link
6. add the google map
7. recreate the issue.
8. let us know how to check this and how to recreate this issue.
9. explain the step 8 with screenshots and URLs for better understanding.

Regards,

Hi,

I have imported a demo site that i use and i only chose the page template to "home".
You can do a few modifications in the theme options, but to edit more i think you have to go in the code.

Here is the documentation of the theme where they mention how to customize: hidden link

Thank again!

Hi,

Sorry for the delay,

I was in holiday.

The page content is coming from the demo content.
So you need to go to Customizer -> Homepage and save the customizer content once.
Then, you need to scan the theme and the theme's required plugin for strings then you'll be able to translate everything from the String Translation page.

Scanning guide if you want : https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/theme-localization/#translating-the-theme-and-plugins-using-wpmls-string-translation

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
