Tell us what you are trying to do?
We have built the site for our Client. They wish to start using Translation Manager for machine translation for News pages only, which will carry a cost per number of words which they will need to top up. I think the easiest thing is for them to start a new account, then we can transfer this site to their account. Is that a straightforward process?
Am I right in saying it will cost them $79 (then $51 per year) for the account subscription?
Is it easy to use Translation Manager in this way for just certain pages?
Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

start a new account, then we can transfer this site to their account. Is that a straightforward process?
- yes, this is starightforward.
- just deregister the WPML
- buy a new subscription
- add the site and create the sitekey in https://wpml.org/account/sites/
- go to the plugins > add new > commercial > wpml and register again.

Am I right in saying it will cost them $79 (then $51 per year) for the account subscription?
- yes, https://wpml.org/purchase/

Is it easy to use Translation Manager in this way for just certain pages?
- yes, https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/working-with-translation-managers/

Let me know if you need anything else regarding this.

Regards,
Riffaz.

Thanks Riffaz,

Just to be clear, I only want to move one site from the current WPML account into a new account which my Client will run. I will continue to need my WPML account for the other websites I have there.

If I deregister the echobarrier website from WPML, I assume the site will be 'down' until it is re-registered by my Client?

- this is correct.

- site won't be down.
- you will not receive the updates and you will not be able to use some functionalities.

Let me know if you need anything else regarding this.
