I am trying to: show a translated product and buy it (as a test)

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
German: hidden link
French: hidden link

I expected to see: same stock level

Instead, I got: not available, not able to add to cart in second language

Thank you for contacting WPML Support.

This is a known bug in combination for variable products and will be solved in the coming 4.5.0 release, which we will release later the day.

If it's urgent, I can refer you to following workaround: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/stock-quantities-are-not-copying/

It gets better and better:
I updated and checked. Same issue.

But: it actually is buggy for the original language as well now, basically put back all stock levels to 0. I know from a staging site that the different sizes had 4-4-3-3 as stock left. After creating the translation and syncing though /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpml-wcml&tab=troubleshooting

Put the stock levels back in (main language) - now it works in both languages.

Glad I only had 2 products translated so far - but honestly no idea how to avoid this for the remaining 250+ items?

✙ I would additionally need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important.

✙ Please add the Links to the […] Edit Screen, the Page/Post where you insert the […] and the corresponding Front End Page/Screen
