Hi and thank you for contacting WPML Support!

I will be happy to help you with this.

The way to translate those strings really depends on how they have been implemented in the code.

1. If it's not in String Translation, it could help if you scan the plugin/theme that's generating the strings and then go back to WPML > String Translation and see if the strings show up:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/theme-localization/

2. If you still can't find it inside the WPML > String Translation, it might be added as admin text.

This should be the normal process to translate admin texts:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-theme-options/

If you still can't find it, I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Privacy and Security Policy

We have strict policies regarding privacy and access to your information. Please see:
https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/

**IMPORTANT**

- Please make a backup of the site files and database before providing us access.

- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box.

The private box looks like this: hidden link

I will be waiting for your response.

Kind regards,
Mihai Apetrei

Hi and thank you for the extra information.

I tried to use the credentials that you shared with me but it seems that they don't work (the ones for the WP Admin Panel).

I am also attaching a screenshot and re-enabling the private fields below this post that you can re-add the credentials.

I will be waiting for your response.

Kind regards,
Mihai

Hi and thank you very much for your patience.

As far as I was able to experience from all my tests, it seems that this plugin is currently not fully compatible with WPML.

I also ran a search for the plugin name, too, in our official WPML-compatible plugins repository here (https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility) and I was not able to find it.

1. My first suggestion for you would be to contact the plugin authors and recommend them to join our 'Go Global' program (https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/go-global-program/) where our Compatibility developers will help them make their plugin 100% compatible with WPML for free.

2. The second thing we can do is that I can create a clean WordPress setup with just the WPML plugins and this plugin (nothing else installed) and see if the same issue is happening there, too.

If the same issue will be happening on our server, that's when I can forward this to our Compatibility department where they can look further into the issue.

Please let me know if you would like us to go through that process, too, or if you would just prefer to get in touch with the developers of the theme.

I will be waiting for your response.

Just a note that I won't be working on the weekend so I will be able to get back to you at the beginning of next week in case you will be able to answer me tonight or in the weekend.

Kind regards,
Mihai

Hello Mihai

Because I have several issues, I created several tickets (on demand from wpml). One of the other supporters already created a test version where i have installed the plugin. I can send you the link when you want?

Hi and thank you for the info.

I already checked the other ticket you created (https://wpml.org/forums/topic/cannot-translate-email-content-from-plugin-mec-booking-mails/) and our Compatibility developers told me that they are still waiting to hear from the plugin developers.

I will currently set this ticket as "Escalated to Compatibility team" and I will get back to you as soon as there will be feedback on this matter.

Thank you for your understanding and for your patience.

Kind regards,
Mihai

Hi there.

We have contacted the plugin author and are waiting for a response. We will help them make their product multilingual ready through our Go Global Program. Please encourage them to work with us so to achieve WPML compatibility.

When your plugin is WPML compatible, it will be announced here https://wpml.org/category/compatibility/ and listed here https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/ or https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/

Now that this process has started, we will close this ticket. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention.

Kind regards,
Mihai
