Hello,

Our hosting provider found some strange things in the log file of the server that is slowing down the loadtime of the website. For some reason WPML creates temporary tables that cause a lot of overload on the server.

I saw another post with the exact same issue but I think this is handled private since it aint marked as resolved.

The hosting provider also gave me the query that is causing it. Is it possible to send this in a private message?

Hello, thank you for contacting WPML Support!

Hello, we had some issues with the cache tables in the past versions.
You may need to reset them.

Try these steps:
❌ Before proceeding please make a full website backup! ❌

- Disable and re-enable all WPML plugins
- Go to WPML > Support > troubleshooting
- Press the "Recreate ST cache tables" button.

The first visit after the re-activation of the plugins is kinda slow, but after the regeneration of the tables - it will be better.

Please let me know if this solves the issue or if you need further details.

Thank you
