I am trying to: Translate certain strings from a certain plugin (The Events Calendar). The strings to translate appear on the WPML panel "String Translation"; I translate the strings; click "Save"; but the string translations don't seem to appear on the website.

URL of (my) website where problem appears: hidden link

I expected to see: There should be no words in English on the URL above (especially "Keyword", "Find", "Upcoming", "Previous")

Hello @dorian,

Thank you for contacting WPML support. I'd be happy to help you on this.

Sometimes a single string is registered multiple times probably with another domain or a similar one, could you please check if there are similar strings available in the string translation table?

Also, are those strings can be configured from the backend, I mean to say can you change the previous to something else by yourself?

Also, one more thing I notice is that your plugin domain is plugin the-event-calender so I suspect there must be another domain registered as the-event-calender, can you find it?

Look forward to your reply.

Hi Shekhar,
Many thanks for your reply.
You were absolutely on the spot with your third remark — I had missed the fact that the domain "plugin the-event-calendar" was different from the domain "the-event-calendar"... When I selected the latter, I was able to make the translated strings appear on the front end of the website.

Have a great day/evening.
