If I try to translate the homepage by adding string translations in admin screens and then looking up the string for string translation, the checked strings are not displayed.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. I took a detailed look in your website and noticed your homepage content are defined into 'blocks' in your WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Customize settings, in these cases you will need to translate these customizer values from your WordPress Dashboard > WPML > String Translation admin text settings exactly as our instructions recommend at: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-theme-options/.

Please, let me know if it helps, have a nice day.

Thanks for your prompt correspondence, however, we have already tried this. When we check a block in admin string translation which is located under + theme_mods_theme001-child and save, the checked value won't save at all.

That is the issue.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. I took another look in your website and could register it using a custom XML code in your WordPress Dashboard > WPML > Settings > Custom XML Code here is the code I tried:

<wpml-config>
<admin-texts>
  <key name="theme_mods_theme001-child">
    <key name="*"/>
  </key>
</admin-texts>
</wpml-config>

Note in the sample above I registered ALL the fields of your 'theme_mods_theme001-child' you can still register only the fields you need as you can read in our instructions at: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/language-configuration-files/#admin-texts. You should be able to translate all these fields in your WordPress Dashboard > WPML > String Translation. Please, let me know if it helps, have a nice day.
